CHANGE OF SCENT

"I have been using your Eucalyptus Hand Lotion for several years and have always loved it. On my last trip to the store, I couldn't find the hand lotion on the shelves, but I did find a large bottle of Thymes Eucalyptus Replenish Body Lotion. I assumed it would be the same fragrance in a larger size, so I purchased it. Unfortunately, when I tried it, I discovered that the scent is completely different from the hand lotion. In my opinion, the fragrance is very unpleasant and nothing like the eucalyptus scent that many of us have enjoyed for years. I would like to return the body lotion and would appreciate your guidance on the return process. Thank you for your assistance, and I hope you'll continue offering the original Eucalyptus Hand Lotion that many of us have enjoyed for so long"

"Whether on site or in stores, I’ve been wearing Thymes Eucalyptus colognes, perfumes, hand and body lotions for years. After reading the poor reviews regarding the fragrance of the new body lotion formula, I thought how bad can it be. It’s bad. Has an odor reminiscent of self tanning lotion and bleach. The 16oz container was on sale for $28 (from $36) and went into the garbage. Hopefully the hand lotions won’t undergo “an improvement” with its formula. FYI to Thymes: if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it."

New Eucalyptus Formula

"As with most other reviews, I am disappointed in the new formula. I have been buying this lotion for over 25 years, and it is my favorite scent. I have read that the formula was changed to add more 'hydrating" ingredients, and that may be the reason the scent is different. That is all very well and good, but you should give the option for both formulas so as not to lose loyal customers."

Bring back the old scent, please

"I have used this lotion for over 10 years. It was one of the very few that I could use. I see that “Thymes added more hydrating properties “ but it did not need them and is a very unsatisfactory and dismissive response. Not only did you change the scent by adding more hydrating properties, Thymes doubled the price. I see by the reviews that there are enough of us that do not like the new scent. I guess you offset losing customers by raising the price. If there is any more of the original eucalyptus lotion hiding anywhere in your warehouse, I would love to have it."

My absolute FAVORITE SCENT has

"My absolute FAVORITE SCENT has always been Eucalyptus, however, the scent seems to have changed. Doesn’t seem as fresh and lasting as it always was. Sure hope I just got an “off” batch. I’ve always loved the quality and selection of products offered by Thymes and have recommended this product to everyone who has complemented me on what I as wearing…. and that’s a lot!!!"

Why On Earth Spoil Such a Good Thing?

"I have been using Thymes Eucalyptus lotion for about 7 years. I have never received compliments on a fragrance like I have with Eucalyptus - the OLD Eucalyptus. Unless you are willing and able to bring back the original scent, I think you will lose a lot of customers. I know this because I'm one of them."

"Why was it decided the eucalyptus lotion needing tweaking? Have you ever heard “if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it”? I keep checking to see if you have gone back to the original formula and that apparently has not happened. I am now finally out of the ‘new and improved’, and it looks like it’s staying that way- disappointed."
