Celebrating International Women's Day

In 1982, our founder was disappointed in the ingredients she found in bath and body products available in the marketplace. She knew there was a better, more natural way, so she forged her own path. She celebrated her passion for art, curiosity, and desire for more wholesome ingredients by developing beautifully-packaged, fragrant bath and body products in her kitchen using local ingredients – including herbs from her garden. In that moment, Thymes was born.

Today, Thymes continues to be led by a female CEO who has carried forward those founding principles. We create artfully crafted products, rooted in nature, and made with care so that women can lead lives full of beauty, balance and connection. International Women’s Day is a time to celebrate, empower, and recognize the women all around us.

"To me, International Women's Day is a day where I can celebrate and embrace not only ME and the Woman and Mother that I have chosen to be, but all the roles that I play."

What does International Women’s Day mean to you?

"International Women's Day means empowerment. As a woman, it seems as though we bare the load unnoticed. However, what a joy it is for the giver and the receiver to straighten another queen's crown. Women are superheroes that walk around without capes and recognition."

"I think the most empowering fragrance to me is Kimono Rose. It's such an all-encapsulating fragrance. Delicate, yet bold. Seductive, yet comforting. It's relaxing and invigorating all at once."
