First, we want you to know that we have just one reason for being. You. As busy, hardworking women ourselves, we know firsthand just how essential it is to treat yourself with the same compassion, nurturing and care that you give to those around you.

This is why we work so hard to bring you products that help make the most of those few precious minutes you have to yourself each day. It’s our way of encouraging you to rejuvenate your spirit and body by taking time for yourself, helping you to feel refreshed, refueled and optimistic.

Our Story

In 1982, the Thymes bravely began as a small, home-based business offering a collection of soaps and bath salts inspired by our love for art, nature and a desire to elevate everyday moments into restorative rituals. By using our products, we wanted women to be inspired, and find a renewed sense of balance.

Made with essential oils and natural ingredients, and artistically designed and packaged with hand-touched details, our products pioneered an entirely new category of botanically-based Bath & Body products.

We’ve grown since then (and so has the category we helped to create), but within our walls, much has stayed the same. We’re still a company that is run by and for women. And to this day, everything we do – every single collection we create, fragrance we develop, formula we produce, and even the packaging we design – is done with you in mind.

This is our motivation for coming to work each day, and the reason why we’re still going strong after all these years.
