New Temple Tree Jasmine

A Delicate Reverie

Some botany is as lovely to say as it is to breathe. Take Temple Tree, a tree that has not one but three gorgeous names.

First, we have “temple,” which bespeaks its enshrined place in sacred Hindu rites. Next, we have plumeria, a roll-off-your-tongue name capturing the tree’s fragrant night blooms. Finally, there’s frangipani (FRAN-gee pan-nee), as the tree is known deep in the tropics.

Taken together, the three words hint at the many-layered nuances of Temple Tree Jasmine, our newest bath, body and home fragrance collection. Inspired by the ethereal beauty of feminine florals, Temple Tree Jasmine whispers a moment of delicate reverie, pure and sublime.

It does so through its shimmering, sheer, elegant fragrance; the ingredients it features to nurture skin and senses; and the tactile designs—on both packaging and products—to inspire reflections of quiet beauty.

Temple Tree Jasmine layers the air with floral wisps of heady blossoms and jasmine sambac.

Floral wisps layer the air with heady Temple Tree blossoms and jasmine sambac, entwined with honeysuckle, ylang ylang and damask rose and steeped in silky coconut milk. Meanwhile, soothing Madonna lily extract and velvety Monoi butter indulge the skin with nourishing moisture. Available in formulas for bath and body care and home fragrance, the exotic bouquet benefits both body and mind.

Key ingredients of Temple Tree Jasmine:

Madonna lily: A symbol of purity for over 3,000 years, it was a favorite with the ancient Greeks and Romans. Lily is esteemed for its emollient, purifying, protective and moisturizing benefits.

Monoi butter: A soft, velvety butter containing the essence of the tropical Tiare flower, related to the gardenia and renowned in Polynesia for its nutrient-rich essence. Its components offer moisturizing benefits for skin and hair.

Jasmine sambac: A night-blooming tropical flower highly regarded in perfumery. The scent is heady, silky, green and intoxicating.

Experience Temple Tree Jasmine and embrace a moment of delicate reverie, all to yourself.

Tell us: What is your favorite flower and why? We'll draw a winner on Thursday, May 2nd, 2013 to receive a May Day Gift Basket full or Temple Tree Jasmine products. Happy May Day!

Tough call! Gladiolas remind me of my grandmother who grew flowers in her garden to use in floral arrangements for church - but my father grew roses by the hundreds, so that's a hard one!

martha May 2, 2013

I can't wait to test this new mixture! As an artist I paint a lot of flowers for their beauty and symbolism. I LOVE Madonna Lily. Such a powerful fragrance to wear, for it's meaning and gentle, enveloping scent.

Diane DeMeria May 2, 2013

I love lilacs because they remind me of my old neighborhood when I was a kid. I used to pick them in people's backyards, ring their doorbell and sell them to them. What was I thinking??

debbie May 1, 2013

It changes all the time, because nature moves through a broad spectrum of temperatures giving us the gift of variety. If we didn't experience different fragrances, I fear we would soon be oblivious to even the richest scent over time. So for now...wisteria envelopes me when I walk outside and I am so thankful so be able to appreciate the scent ....for a coupld of weeks a year. Wisteria...natures gift for the eyes as well as the nose

My favorite is Lilly of the Valley. My birthday is in May and my late grandmother and I share the same birthday (23rd), so this flower is very very important to me. It's a pretty flower that I don't see a lot of. It will always remind me of her and remind me of my childhood growing up in Wisconsin. They were always along side of our house. I can still remember them to this day. :) Although the flower is said to be poisonous, it shouldn't be :) Happy May Day everyone!

My favorite flower is a daisy (same as my Mom's). She always would say that they are like happy faces. When she passed away, the flowers I chose for her funeral were daisies. She has greatly influenced me to be the person I am today. I am so, so grateful to have had such a remarkable, wonderful Mom. Although daisies don't smell much, they certainly can bring a smile to my face in memory of my mom.

Linten Roses, not sure that is the correct spelling but they are beautiful. They bloom from the first day of lint until Easter Sunday. And sometimes it will be a week of so after Easter before they start to drop their seeds. But they ALWAYS bloom on the first day. This year, they even bloomed thru snow and ice. It always helps me realize that the world always has a fresh start in the spring.

Kendra Silvestri May 1, 2013

My favorite flower is gerbera daisy.

Kimberly Prchal May 1, 2013

I love Orchids because they are stunning and because they are so many different varieties!

Sheila May 1, 2013

I love roses! Not only are they beautiful, aromatic and a symbol of love, but they remind me that life is sometimes a mixture of good and bad. The thorns represent the pain we sometimes experience, and the beautiful bloom represents the all the wonderful things that happen to us in life. Joined together on the stem, they reassure us that life goes on in harmony!

There are so many other flowers to choose from of course...flowers are a simple way to brightened someone's day. :-)

Rachel May 1, 2013

My favourite flower is Daisies. For a few reasons, I remember going for walks with my grandpa when i was very little and he'd stop at the daisies and make me a daisy necklace or stick one behind my ear. How I treasure those memories. Second reason: I have to agree with Meg Ryan's character from You've Got Mail " Aren't daisies the friendliest flowers"

Robbie May 1, 2013

My favorite flower is definitely lavender. I love it for many reasons. Bees are drawn to it, and I like bees. It's scent is fresh, clean, and healing. The color of the tiny blossoms is such a beautiful shade. Lastly, It dries easily, and the dried flowers keep their scent for years.

Judy Elizabeth May 1, 2013

Andrina T May 1, 2013

My favorite flower is the Gardenia. It looks so delicate and feels like velvet, but gives off such a strong fragrance that you can't miss it. It's your typical southern flower- soft and girly but makes its presence known so you'd best treat it right. :) I had many gardenia blooms in my wedding bouquet and there's probably never been a better smelling bouquet!

Tamera Froemming May 1, 2013

I've always loved the cheerfulness of the Gerber daisy. These flowers are wonderful to give to anyone for a multitude of reasons because of their simplistic shape and coloring. They come in such a fun variety of colors, and their whimsical shape can't help but bring a smile to my face. They have a large flowery head (kind of like a sunflower, but because of the multitude of colors that they are available in, they are great alone or bunched with other flowers. They are the perfect flower because they can serve in all sorts of occasions, mother's day, birthdays, get well, congratulations, romantic, etc. Not all flowers can serve that sort of purpose. That is why the Gerber daisy IS the perfect flower!

Debra Jackson May 1, 2013

I love all flowers, especially those with a fragrance that leaves an impression. The best flowers are those which simply beg for me to bury my face in their blossoms. I will never forget the jasmine blossoms from when I lived in China for three years; the scent wafted across the campus where I lived, carried on a breeze, and as the blossoms fell off the trees, we walked and collected them into tiny bouquets. Gorgeous!

Ally May 1, 2013

Jennifer May 1, 2013

As ordinary as it is, my favourite flower is the rose. Something about the scent - all the different permutations, but I love tea rose the most - comforts me more than anything else, and I love the velvety petals and the lush patterns they make when a bud unfurls. I love the small buds, the promise of beauty within, I love the many colours and patterns that can emerge. No two roses are alike, no matter how close in colour and size. The leaves are elegant, a beautiful green to complement the feathery, colourful petals.

Julie May 1, 2013

Roses and plumeria are only a couple of my favorite flowers!! When we lived in Hawai'i we had a plumeria tree in our yard and it always smelled amazing!

Jen May 1, 2013

My favorite flower is the lily of the valley. When I was little my grandmother had this elaborate garden that was constantly blooming with flowers of all types through out the spring and summer months. Sweet peas are my favorites because they remind me of pioneer women wearing bonnets and that represents strength and fortitude to me. They are sweet smelling, hardy, and humble too.

Jasmine is actually my favorite flower! so it can't get any better than this collection for me! I already use the home mist, which I love, specially in these early Spring days in New York.

This looks so elegant. My favorite flowers are orchids. They are so delicate, unique and each beautiful in their own way.

I have always loves pansies. My grandfather would plant 100's of them every year in his garden, and I always smile when I see one. I also love the color combo of purple and yellow because I am reminded of my grandpa, the gardener.

I have been enjoying a variety of Thymes body lotions for over ten years. I was recently introduced to your newest fragrance, Temple Tree Jasmine Body Lotion. After showering, I apply it all over and am instantly shrouded in a veil of Oriental mystique. This multi-scented delicate floral potion is velvety and moisturizing without being heavy or the essence overwhelming. Wearing it is definitely a mood booster, and I use it daily as part of my “prepare for the day” regimen.

Temple Tree Jasmine hand cream is a beautiful addition to my favorite Thymes florals. I apply it several times a day just to lift my mood! It's also the perfect cream to smooth on before important events, so you can shake hands with confidence. I wore it recently while meeting our state's governor and new Senators, and I knew my hands would be smooth, delicately scented, and just right for a memorable occasion. I can't wait to try the rest of the line...this is the true jasmine scent I have been craving.
