With Earth Day around the corner, doing our part to preserve the planet is on all of our minds. We know how important it is to make informed choices about the products you purchase, which is why we’re taking this opportunity to tell you a little bit more about our earth-friendly efforts.

Here at Thymes, we believe that doing our part for the environment means not only using recyclable bottles and packaging for our products, but also making an extra effort to protect our surroundings without compromising the quality and efficacy of our formulas. With the Earth and its resources becoming more precious every day, we strive to create environmentally friendly products that minimize our carbon footprint and select naturally-based ingredients from renewable and sustainable sources that are biodegradable and eco-friendly.

In fact, 90% of all materials that we use are sourced domestically here in the US, and the majority of our vendors are within a 100-mile radius of our headquarters, meaning shorter distances for cargo trucks to travel, reduced petroleum-fuel consumption, and ultimately the reduction in greenhouse gas emission. The majority of all Thymes packaging is recyclable and a portion of our carton packaging is produced in partnership with a vendor sourcing 100% of its electricity from wind-powered energy. 

We are committed to using as many natural and botanical ingredients as possible

We believe strongly in the importance of caring for yourself as well as caring for others around you, which is why we do not test our products and formulas on animals.  We are committed to using as many natural and botanical ingredients as possible and have always steered clear of harsh ingredients such as Mineral Oil, Petrolatum, PABA and Di-butyl phthalate.  To provide you with the best possible fragrance experience, our in-house laboratory is continually evaluating and refining our formulating philosophies as new options become available. Today, our formulas are free of Parabens, Phthalates, SLS, SLES and Propylene Glycol. Caring initiatives like these help improve the quality of Thymes products and reinforce our commitment to you—and the planet.
