Who plants the trees, and how are they planted?
Each tree is planted under best practice policies. These policies are established by American Forests. Partnering with all of these knowledgeable professionals ensure that all policies are practiced.
Why is planting a tree important?
Planting trees means leaving the world a better place than we left it. By doing this, you are improving climate change, reforesting damaged areas of the planet, providing shelter for animals and giving fresh air back to our fellow humans.
Where are the trees going to be planted?
Thymes® in partnership with American Forests will be planting all trees through the Chippewa National Forest in Minnesota.
What kinds of trees are being planted?
A variety of northern native trees: red pine, jack pine, white pine, white spruce, tamarack, bur oak, red oak and white oak.
When will my tree be planted?
Depending on location and seasonality, all trees planted through the Plant One Tree Program can be planted before the product is even purchased or up until 8 months after the product is purchased.
Who is American Forests?
Founded in 1875, American Forests is the oldest national nonprofit conservation organization in the country. They inspire and advance the conservation of forests, which are essential to life.
They protect and restore threatened wildland forest ecosystems, promote and expand urban forests, and increase understanding of the importance of forests. Since 1990, American Forests has planted more than 50 million trees in forests throughout the U.S. and in nearly 50 countries, resulting in cleaner air and drinking water, restored habitat for wildlife and fish, and the removal of millions of tons of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
