I would love to give an apple tree because it is the gift that keeps on giving for years to come! If they don't have a yard I would give them several pots of herbs so they can have fresh herbs each day!
My favorite housewarming gift to give is a high quality bottle of extra virgin olive oil!
I worked for a local spa as a Massage Therapist and they used AZUR as one of the calming fragrances. I FELL IN LOVE WITH AZUR and has been using it every since. So for new home owners I always give the gift of the Azur Sink Set, with the Home Frangrance Mist. It's a hit every time.
My favorite housewarming gift to give is a big bottle of liquid hand soap.....not your "everyday" hand soap that is purchased at the big box stores but hand soap in a special fragrance (like Thymes Mandarin Coriander or Azur) that is purchased in a quaint little boutique. Rarely will people splurge on something like hand soap. That is why I like to buy a bottle or two as housewarming gifts. They can put a bottle in the guest bath and get wonderful compliments like "I LOVE the smell of that hand soap!"
I love giving a scented candle and a bottle of wine, to unwind and relax after all that moving!
I like to give a plant called the money tree, said to bring good fortune and prosperity.
I like to make a gift basket and add in items like hand towels, a large sweet scented candle, scented room spray, bubble bath, a wedding picture frame, wine glasses & a gift certificate for a nice dinner out.....

I like to bring a jar of homemade marinara sauce, so the new homeowners can just boil up a pot of noodles and have an easy, delicious dinner. AND I really love to give a sink set, hand wash and lotion, from Thymes in my favorite, Eucalyptus.
My favorite housewarming gift is a kitchen soap and lotion set, like the Mandarin Coriander set, a nice scented candle or a "bouquet" of kitchen utensils.
A crystal flower vase--every new home needs one!
I love giving a small rosemary tree in a unique clay pot--smells beautiful, looks beautiful and it's a "green" gift that one day can be planted outside & enjoyed for years to come!
Thank you Thymes for bringing back this wonderful line. I fell in love with Mandarin Coriander a few years ago and was sooooo disappointed when it disappeared! Now have stocked up on the product once again and ejoye the mood-lifting scent once again. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
My husband is Swedish, so first of all, when we are in Sweden I choose American special products--scented products like candles and hand soaps a great idea for Swedish friends, since they don't have as much as we do here in the US. That Thymes if from Minnesota, my home state, is a bonus. :) Gifts to give in the US include a combination of something cozy and scented, like a candle, and a hand soap and lotion combo, because they last a little longer, combined with something homemade, like a pie or cookies, which would be great to make with a coordinating scent to the other products. For example, if cinnamon would be a common note I would add it, or in this case, orange!
I Agree a plant is really nice or our favorite local Zingerman's bread and jam.
Well my best friend just got married and I know she loves for her home to smell nice and clean. Citric fragrances cant be beat. A beautiful candle and scented soap and hand wash fill the air with freshness every time you use them. I think your Mandarin Coriander gift set would be a perfect settling in present, dont you? :)
I love giving a plant as a housewarming gift. We gave our dear friends a cool bonsai plant for their new home. Every time I see it on their kitchen counter, it reminds me of our long, wonderful friendship.
I go with the classic: a nice loaf of bread that the home may never know hunger, salt so that life in the home always has flavor and wine that the home will have joy. Then, to modernize, I add a Thymes candle in a scent that I know the new homeowner will adore.
Thymes Mandrian Corriander in the summertime or Frasier Fir in the wintertime make wonderful housewarming gifts. Wind chimes are another favorite
I love giving Amici Olive Oil or a copy of a go-to cookbook (such as the Barefoot Contessa).
I believe plants are a great housewarming gift. An easy, no fuss plant or even a cactus. It adds life to a new home. Given that you take proper care of the new plant, this gift could last much longer than food/candies gift!
I love to give something that will be special to the person. A beautiful serving piece, or a basket of kitchen items that they might not have, cook books, & some nice hand soap with matching lotion.
We just recently moved to the town I'm from n grew up in and our Pastor & his family gave us the Limited Edition Of The C.S. Lewis Classic Series The Chronicles Of Narnia entire 19 CDs 7 complete audio dramas! It has to be the best family housewarming gift I've ever seen/heard! Their daughter had given our oldest daughter one of the radio theater CDs of Narnia series for her bday a couple years ago and we loved it so when the gave us the entire collection as a housewarming gift we were so excited!
I love wine as a housewarming gift, but a basket full of Mandarin Coriande products would be awesome!!!
I try to choose something as personal as possible, something to my friend's own tastes. That might be a candle lantern (with candle), a lovely cozy throw, gourmet coffees, a premium champagne, or a deluxe cookbook.
Candles and candies....good smells and good flavors last a long time :)
Candles. plants. wine, scented soaps, etc. Pretty much all the above in a gift basket. Oh and always some sort of food I have baked or my homemade jams. Your products are wonderful but I tend to keep them all to myself. LOL

I think it would be great to give or recieve a Epicure Selections party. The hostess invites the persons 10-15 closest friends and everyone orders what spices, bakeware, cookware, ect they need but instead of the hostess keeping the hostess gifts to herself she gives them to the person that has the new house. This way the person in need (or want) of the housewarming gift can choose for herself what she wants. I had this idea in the winter when I hosted my first Epicure Selections party. Play a few games, have some food, wine and good friends plus earn freebies for the new home. I know I had fun at my party.
My favorite housewarming gift to give to others is a nice bottle of wine or champagne. If the host doesn't drink, then I go with a luxury candle, of course.
My favorite is food - a nice homemade cake, spinach lasagna, or a big basket of fruit... After a long day of moving it's nice just to sit down, relax, and dine on a treat someone lovingly prepared for you.
I love to give a new homeowner a basket that I fill with a wickless candle, air freshener or room spray, reusable shopping bags, all-purpose cleaning spray, and some homemade cookies or muffins. It always brings a smile to their faces!
My favorite gift to give is a coffee mug filled with coffee, hot cocoa, or tea. I also love hand towels or cloth napkins.
Any of the Thymes sink sets! When you are just moving in, with all the cleaning, unpacking, and settling, your hands get so dirty and dry. Nothing feels or smells better than a break at the sink to wash your hands, take a breath, and start again with great smelling soft hands. Sometimes it's all the break you need, and the perfect welcome to your new home.
Candles or a homemade crocheted potholder and dishcloth set are my favs to share with friends!
Scented candles are my favorite housewarming gift(s) to give and receive. Whether pillar style, tapered or in a jar, candles are not only practical, but beautiful, romantic and great smelling.
My favorite is a gift card. Every time you move there are always a list of little things you need ie.curtain rods, trash cans, picture frames. This way the new homeowner can go out &pick up all the things they need...in the right size, style or color!
Candles, linen spray, all purpose cleaner, soaps, etc. all put together in a basket makes a perfect housewarming gift! And a good bottle of wine for the perfect ending of moving day. Thymes makes it easy to assemble, just need to go and get the wine......
I usually give Candles and/or wine. If the person doesn't drink wine then I will add some dip mixes
Huge candles in jars and candle stands or port
My favorite housewarming gifts are candles and kitchen towels, can never have enough of both!
My favorite housewarming gift to give is a bottle of wine or if the person is not a drinker an upsale food goodie like Godiva chocolate or gourmet nuts. Other great gifts are party napkins with funny sayings or personal care items for guests and of course Thyme soaps or candles are super suggestions too! I'm excited to try the new Mandarin Coriander scent. Please enter me in the Facebook contest :)
